I am excited for the return of TwinsFest this year. I am curious how much will change since the last time they had it. They've already gone down to one day of the traditional Twinsfest. Wonder if the availability of players will be the same? I know my son would love to see and meet some of the players just walking through the hallways like they used to. 

 

Anyone heard of any big changes? Plan on going? Events I shouldn't miss?

 

Side note - TwinsFest at the Metrodome was one of a kind and will never be forgotten.

Yes, until they move it to a location with the room they had at the Metrodome, I can't do it.  Did it once with my kids and they lost their spark for it at Target Field.  Any reason we can't move it to US Bank Stadium?

U.S. Bank would be a good location. I am guessing they enjoy inviting people into 'their' home. I also once read that they use TwinsFest as kind of a kickoff of the season. Some preliminary physicals and meetings take place that week/weekend.

 

It is cool getting to see areas of Target Field you don't get to see on gameday.

They don't have to pay to use Target Field. they would anywhere else.

Side note - TwinsFest at the Metrodome was one of a kind and will never be forgotten. 

It was the best at the Metrodome, especially with my 10 yr. old Son, who was crazy about baseball.
