❤️ Pagan

Yep if you need a guy to hang on to an 8 run lead, he’s your guy, I think he’s successful about 2 out of every 3 or 4 tries.

I told everyone that the only thing holding this team back was Tim Beckham.

I hope he got both those baseballs, his first and his last hits

Whenever I watch the Giants, I think of DeNiro, umping behind the plate.

Was he better than Leslie Nielsen?

Anyone know the minimum speed for the ball to go from the rubber (or point of pitcher's release)  to cross home  plate?  Without hitting the ground.

any answer in the range 26-28 mph is probably pretty close, depending upon the exact conditions.

The faster a pitch comes in , the farther it goes when hit solidly; Garlick's homer went 373 ft. I wonder how far it would have had it been a 100 mph fastball.

I remember 8  or so years ago when Suzuki put a Chapman fast ball way up the 2nd deck.

Ryan's 10th win. In all of the Twins Rookie of the Year discussion, and the focus on advanced metrics, you still have to be in a position to win ballgames. Ryan has done that better than any other Twins pitcher. Duran? You have to win the first innings before you can win the last ones. Ryan's my ROY.

If Pagan comes up one short in his saves incentive clause, he’s gonna be TICKED!

Baldelli wanted him to end his night on a good note, he got his ERA under 5.00, pitching the 9th may have ruined the good feels...
