Okay so what is worse, allowing a starter to face the lineup a third time, or using 4 or 5 relievers every game.

The whole 3rd time through the lineup thing was originally intended to be used in the context of a 7 game series.  I think everyone realizes that except for Twins brass.  We're seeing what happens when you try to manage a whole season that way.
