Tech help?

Hi all -

I've been having some trouble with quoting posts recently. Something seems to be "stuck". I can describe the problem pretty clearly and I've also tried a few things on my end to get it fixed but it seems to be something on the TD side. Where can I go for help with this?

Thanks all - so the issue is that if I click "Quote Post", I always get that little pop-up on the bottom right-hand side of the screen. That's always worked fine, but lately it's been completely "greyed out" if that makes sense. Check out the screenshot here. You'll see that "Quote 1 post" is listed as usual, but I can't click on it.

I tried clearing my cache, logging out, restarting, etc but I can't seem to get that action item to work for me any more. Ever seen this? Ideas?

@bighat Interesting, I don't believe that should happen if you're only quoting one post. It may take until early next week but I'll look into that and figure out what is going on.

Well, maybe you did something because now as you can see I can quote a post - whatever the problem was has been resolved. Thanks if you did something!

That I was able to fix in a few seconds. Are you still having problems? I thought there was more to it than just that.

Nope, it was just that thing with the quoted post that was "stuck".

I have an iPhone 12 mini. The text tables are wider than my screen accommodates, so I have to with back off my POV or slide the screen back and forth. Both are annoying because each click thru on the forum means readjusting.

is there a setting or preference I can set to default to full width text?

I think you’re describing an ad issue that has been expanding some pages on load. It’s a tech issue I’m going to address as soon as I clear a few things off my current list.

BTW, I noticed this went from an intermittent problem to a consistent problem so I patch-worked some code to fix it until the ad provider can deliver a real solution. If you still experience this issue, clear your cache on a mobile device and it should be resolved.
