Should Plouffe Give Bruno #24?

Does it look weird to anybody else? Brunansky wearing 23 just doesn't look as awesome as it would to see him wearing 24. Plouffe has 24, and I understand that he probably prefers to keep it. I'm sure Bruno would be the last person to complain, but wouldn't you rather see the young guy defer to the World Series Champion on this one? Plouffe with 23 and Bruno with 24 would look great to me, and would make me like Plouffe even more than I already do.

 

Then again, if it is superstition and Plouffe will feel more confident mashing with 24, then I'm sure Brunansky would insist on Plouffe keeping 24. And I would whole-heartedly agree.

It's a beautiful song called "Harmon Killebrew". The lyric is "Harmon Killebrew, did you ever get my letter? Ten pages of clear blue sky..." I highly recommend it to Twins fans and people who shed a tear for days gone by.

First, if Bruno wanted #24, he would have it.

 

While he did wear that number with the Twins, he wore 5 different numbers over his career, including #23. It probably isn't that important to him.

Probably correct. Though I don't know if Bruno would even bring it up or even mention it unless asked about it. Even if he did want it, I doubt he would make any sort of issue out of it. Seems like it would have been something cool for Plouffe to volunteer, but certainly not a knock against him that he didn't.
