Twins in MLB.com's Top 100 Prospects

MLB.com is revealing their top 100 list at 8:00 (Central) tonight (Tues). I"m excited to see how many Twins are in the top 100. Any guesses and where they'll be? Mine...

 

Sano - 5-15

Buxton - 25-35

Meyer - 50-60

Rosario - 50-60

Arcia - 70-85

Hicks - 90-100

Gibson and May have an outside chance as well. I'll be checking in.

 

Also, ESPN will be releasing Keith Law's list a week from today.

That looks about right except Hicks might sneak up further and they might move Rosario down a bit lower.

Sano & Buxton around 20ish

Hicks, Meyer, Arcia 40-60 area

Rosario and Gibson 85-100 range

 

I don't know if mlb.com (Mayo) will throw in a risk guy but I wouldn't be stunned if one of Kepler, May or Berrios slipped onto a few top 100 lists, too.

Kyle Gibson is #49. That bodes well, I think.

Buxton - #19. Huh, I guess Rosario, who was ranked as the #6 prospect at 2B, isn't going to make the list.

So six Twins in the top 100. Up from four last year.

Heartening, especially the fact that 4 of those 6 are in the top 50.

This list is odd. Arcia seems really undervalued, and Hicks and Rosario, too. And I'm earnestly surprised that Gibson is at 49. Odd. Is this actually Mayo's list or is this an amalgam of different inputs and measures?

and Bonnes, you have to figure Rosario is in the top 125, definately 150. Along with May and Berrios probably in the top 150/175 as well.

 

Max Kepler is definately a top 200 guy i'd wager gleeman's house.

 

I think they got the names right but Gibson should be closer to Arcia's placement and Arcia closer to Gibson's placement.

I think its right Rosario missed, but hopefully he was at least strongly considered.
