Report: Scott Erickson charged in connection with fatal car accident

Headline is a bit misleading, but either way, it's not good. 

 

Former Twins pitcher (and Twins Daily Winter Meltdown guest) Scott Erickson was charged with a misdemeanor reckless driving. He was part of a street race in California and two kids died. 

 

 

According to the Los Angeles Daily News, Erickson was involved in a street race with Rebecca Grossman, when Grossman's vehicle struck and killed two boys in a crosswalk while walking with their parents on Sept. 29.

I saw that. The way he pitched that first half of '91 was still the most dominant stretch I have ever seen. It's too bad these guys can't figure out to do with themselves when they can't play anymore.

That headline comes from somewhere else. Bringmethenews.com is just a "cut-n-paste" news gatherer.....headline is very misleading and slanderous. The woman he was racing hit the pedestrian and drove away. He was further up the road...but certainly complicit.
