DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 He’s a smart guy. No wonder he was such a great pitcher.I could really get used to hearing him more often.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Really great play by Jorge to save a run there after a poor inning from Perez
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Polanco’s slumping, but he’s still fielding the position well.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 What happened there with Perez?
bighat Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 What the heck was that balk? Terrible. Great play by Jorge Polanco to end the inning there. Gotta add on some more runs for sure.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Little bit of a blip from Perez there, now let's get the offense back in gear.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I know there are various opinions as to the "merits" of the various/number former Twins who spend time in the booth TV or radio, but I generally enjoy all of them in various ways. Does anyone know if this unique to the Twins? I don't listen to or watch broadcast of other teams, for obvious reasons, but I'm willing to wager this in unique to the Twins.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 That balk was beyond bizarre, it was like he short circuited or something. Really weird
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I’ve become less of a Sparkman fan the last couple of innings.

They have a guest very occasionally. But it’s not often a former Rockie.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 i wish fsn - in that little box would put where the infielders are, on all these shifts, thought Gonsalves had a hit
luckylager Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 To whomever it was that tipped me off to bilasport.net, thank you! I was totally happy with my SlingTV arrangement until Disney/Sinclair got even more greedy and I ended up getting bounced. I'm sure this is a temporary reality too. But for now, it's a good work-around.
bighat Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Twins offense always seems to go through these listless mid-inning slumps after they score early. Twins just seem to get frustrated when things don't go their way offensively and it seems to be contagious. Not saying it's true, just looks like it from here. That said, both the Arraez and Gonzalez balls could have been hits, right up the middle. A shame that we're seeing Castro 2 games in a row. Guessing we'll see Garver for the next two, I hope.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Welp this stings...Perez let them right back into this game.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Ok......Cam Gallagher, really? Just a brutal pitch. Martin Perez is who we thought he was....
bighat Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Goddang it, Perez. He's seriously the same guy he was in Texas at this point. A very, very hittable lefty who is erratic and can't be trusted.

Dakota15 Provisional Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Can we pull Perez? This dude is awful
bighat Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Royals are scrappy. They look like the better team today. Dang it. Time for Perez to take a seat, pronto.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 The way the KC/Twins games have gone this season I would swear these were the teams fighting for the division. Always close

But it’s not often a former Rockie.Case in point, tonight they have a front office guy in the booth. That seems to be the majority of their guests.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 This is a very underwhelming performance from Perez!!!!
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I hope Perez is one and done in Minnesota
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Polanco needs a 10 day break, hasent been the same and its very Visisble, since b4 the all-star game ?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Oof. And now we're down. Not good.
