Ladyhawk Provisional Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Does anyone know if people wear costumes for game of thrones night? If I wear an ikea cloak will I look like a crazy person? Help please --Ladyhawk
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 For others like me who felt in the dark: every MLB team has a GoT Night, and our Twins' night is Saturday May 11. https://www.mlb.com/twins/tickets/specials/game-of-thrones I can not assist, and in fact am no judge at all, where the question regards crazy attire or not.

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I don't think you'll be the only one who dresses up. Folks dress up for lots of different reasons. I often think one reason is to hopefully get 3-5 seconds on the jumbotron. GoT night is organized, so you'll probably run into some others. I've seen guys wearing cowboy hats with the flapper hats on top of the cowboy hats. I saw a guy wearing one of those leprechaun piggy-back costumes the other night. I think it all adds to the atmosphere, so you should feel welcome to do it. They may not let dire wolves into the stadium though
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Make sure you check out the rules on costumes and such. Generally adults can't wear anything that covers their face, and no fake weapons. I brought my son to Star Wars night a few years ago, and he was not allowed to bring in a plastic lightsaber (despite the fact he had gotten a full-sized wooden bat as a giveaway a month before.)
Ladyhawk Provisional Member Posted May 1, 2019 Author Posted May 1, 2019 The rules I saw said no weapons, toy or otherwise, I didn't see anything about covering your face, but wouldn't be a problem with the costume I would wear if I do. Thanks all!
