Game Thread: Twins vs. Tigers, 4/14/19, 1:10pm CT

[twinssporto]

Time for some more Twins baseball!  Today's game could be fun to watch with our ace Berrios on the mound.  I think our lineup today will be dangerous as well.  I suspect the bats will really break out and we can score some serious runs.

Enjoy the game! I might have to flip back and forth between the Twins and the Masters.  Tiger has a shot at winning today.  The Tigers do not!

Go Twins!

I'm really trying to figure out why Marwin is getting this much time in the lineup... Astrudillo can play 3rd and he's hitting quite well. I'm not saying he shoudl be benched, but it would be nice to stick with the hot hand a bit more.

Surprised Astudillo is not in the lineup.  Unfortunate.

Over the last week Gonzalez and Astudillo are both cold at the plate, and Gonzalez is significantly better in the field.

Three pitches on/near the black we need to get one of those or Berrios is going to need to pitch more to contact.

Way to work your way outta that one, Jose.

[ewen21]

Very charitable official scoring for Max right there.  Bad hop double, I guess

[bighat]

Time to flip Gonzalez and Buxton in the lineup.

[snotboogie]

Man, I don’t like Marwin’s arm at 3rd.

[glunn]

Berrios is throwing a lot of pitches, and does not look sharp.

[glunn]

Nice defense by Cron that inning.

[Gibby]

Garver, our secret weapon.

[Mill1634]

With that Garver double, it makes me wonder how long until we see a change up in the batting order. Move Garver or Schoop ahead of Cron and Gonzalez.

[Jerr]

Way to go Buxton!

[bighat]

Justin Morneau says "it's tempting to move Buxton up in the order"....

Yes Justin, yes it is.

[Gibby]

This team could possibly survive their pitching.

[operation mindcrime]

Way to pick up your teammate!!!

[Linus]

I love Garver swing. Way to go Buck

[glunn]

Buxton looked good in that at bat.

Why is Byron wearing an oven mitt while running the bases?

[Gibby]

Hiya Glunn. it's been a while.

Why is Byron wearing an oven mitt while running the bases?

He has a souffle in the oven.

Hiya Glunn. it's been a while.

Too long my friend. Good to see you here.

[operation mindcrime]

Wow!!!

[Jerr]

Buxton has finally arrived!!! Now where's that Sano guy???

[wabene]

Cron is really picking it over there I wanna see that bat come alive.

[PseudoSABR]

Don't ever change, Buck!

Thanks. Buxton was pretty ok on that one.

[bighat]

Oh Buxton! Doing it all today. Vintage Bux!
