greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I might be in minority but I dont think much of the Yanks everyday lineup.Yes, a ton of HRs but very low BAve's. They can be pitched to, but of course MN has AAA guys trying to get em out. They have 'names' but not great players anymore.
Top Gun Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Those old guys can play baseball, and are without Teixeira & Gardner, a great home team too.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Cute poll, but we are still in the game after two innings!

Yeah, they draw too many walks, hit too many homers, and score too many runs. They need to hit for a better average like the Royals.

mikeee Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Span could make the game interesting
mikeee Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Or Boone Logan could make it interesting!
mikeee Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Klutch hit!!! span the man!
TwinVike61 Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Gladden just said that Boone Logan has kind of "wet the bed" since he came in...LOL!!!
mhanson93 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 This is a pleasant surprise...nice to see them bounce around the reliever...
mhanson93 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Gladden just said that Boone Logan has kind of "wet the bed" since he came in...LOL!!! And he paused briefly before he said it...like he was about to say "s*** the bed"....LOL!!!
PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Well at least Mauer is making the batting race interesting.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Oh, I LOVE to beat the Yankees!!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Vintage Mauer tonight, bonus points for it being against the Yankees. Great win.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 Wait, what?!?!
one_eyed_jack Verified Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Vintage Mauer tonight, bonus points for it being against the Yankees. Great win. ---Yes, indeed. Although I'm waiting for the Mauer-haters to show up and start ripping him for not getting any extra base hits.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Well, if Deduno can just keep the ball inside the fence we have a shot at winning the series, the Yanks have done little else so far.
Top Gun Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 That's why they play the game.
J-Dog Dungan Provisional Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 If Deduno can keep the ball in the park, not only do the Twins have a chance to win this series, they have a chance to win a season series against the Yankees for the first time in goodness knows how long, or at least that is what I understood from the radio broadcast tonight.
