darin617 Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Just looked at the depth chart on twinsbaseball.com and noticed they list Sano as #1 at 1st base. Sano is not even listed in the depth chart at 3rd base any more. They now have Willians Astudillo as #1 at 3rd base. Will be interesting how the C.J. Cron waiver claim will shake things out now. Worst part is that all 3 DH/1st basemen are all right handed bats. Not sure how much faith I put into this depth chart they put out on their own site. They don't even have Bryon Buxton listed at all.

darin617 Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Author Posted November 26, 2018 IDK, besides the fact the Twins can't even put a depth chart together properly but we are supposed to have faith that they can make the right moves to get the Twins back into contention.

I don't think you need to worry that the depth chart listed on twinsbaseball.com is the one being used by the front office.

ashbury Verified Member Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Kind of surprised I can't even get a single comment on this. The depth chart also lists Garver only at first base. I would interpret all this to mean we're looking at a database that is based on somebody's idea of intended player usage at the end of September, augmented by player transactions (Cron added, Forsythe gone, etc) since then. I wouldn't read much of anything into it other than interns being in charge of some web pages.
