D. Hocking Verified Member Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 Not only that, there’s a very real case of voter fraud being investigated in NC that could result in a special election. Since Paul Ryan hinted at the legitimacy of the CA elections without proof, I am sure he is going to issue a scathing statement with all of the actual evidence that has been reported.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 There was a lot of rural purple this election. In general, a candidate truly concerned with the people in rural areas will resonate and get elected. If you combine the last 50 years between both Senate positions, South Dakota has been represented by a Democrat for 55/100 of those years, with by far the least popular Senator up for re-election in 2020, the state could certainly vote blue.I'll believe it when I see it with SD. The problem is the Dems have no pool of candidates to draw from. The 2018 Gov race was as good a chance as they could have and they still came up short. I suppose if Sutton (the Dem Gov candidate) runs for Rounds Senate seat, he would have a fighting chance, but it would still be very tough.

A certain SD university's president could change that in a real hurry.
