Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 https://www.magazineconisabel.com/index.php/2018/10/07/miguel-sano-involucrado-en-accidente-en-que-salio-herido-un-policia/ According to the above article, Miguel Sano was in a traffic incident early this morning in the Dominican Republic. The police officer is in the hospital. The article notes that he was arrested, but he has been released... Though he'll have to be in court on Monday. I'm sure there will be more news coming. https://twitter.com/hgomez27/status/1049013440545804288 Adding some more:
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Well, I'll await more information I guess. Not a promising start to an offseason.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 At the rate he's going, we don't have to worry about trading him for pennies on the dollar, he'll just be released.
SF Twins Fan Verified Member Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Hopefully he was just in the car and wasn't driving but either way this doesn't look good.

glunn Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 I wish that there was some way to persuade Sano to stay at Ft. Meyers during the off season. He could work out, eat healthy food and hopefully tap his full potential.
