Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I think people really forgot about him....but he'll be in MN this year.He absolutely should be, and if a starter goes down, he should be the next up.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Dick says that Twins vs RedSox since 1961 is 309-309. I'd like to know what the franchise record is since 1901.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Mejia pitched 7 innings today for Rochester -- 3 H, no runs, 1 walk, 8 Ks today. Last four games -- 26 IP, 17 H, 4 ER, 6 BB, 26 Ks.Another great problem to have... Someone who's ready for another chance, but no room right now. Unless, I guess he takes Romero's spot? But I like Romero.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 My thought was more like....bleck...ughhhhh...yawwwwwwwwnnnnnThis is the correct thought.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Heh...Robbie Grossman, DH. Leadoff dinger. As expected.

I'd like to know what the franchise record is since 1901.Red Sox all time record: 9459-8801, .518% If you mean the Senators/Twins, it is 8756-9495, .480 W-L%. Per baseball reference.
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I think people really forgot about him....but he'll be in MN this year. I hope so...I was really interested in him after last season. I think he could stick at this level if he gets more efficient with his pitches.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 1. Robbie Grossman (S) DH hmmmm...... When, When, when can we be done with Grossman, can't hit to save his inability to field. Why not have Chris Carter here getting DH at bats? He might at least hit an HRExcellent use of the anti-jinx!
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Grossman!...well that was just ..wow, I'm speechless
tbhysgb Provisional Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Just when you think Grossman's gonna be a black hole he turns in a game.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I feel like Grossman has been best when he is leading off. Having a guy like him will only disappoint in the 4 hole, but he seems ideal as a leadoff hitter. You notice I said hitter, not baserunner.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 WTF Rosario?Do you have to ask? Magic comes with a price, dearie.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 A little inside, but after that act job of taking off the ankle guard and slowly strapping it back on? Don't blame the ump for ringing up Dozier.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 WTF Rosario? Eddie came up a pinwheel breathing exercise short of a mindfulness bingo on that caught stealing.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 The actor who I first saw in Trainspotting resurfaced years later in a bingeable (like waffle cookies or sour gummy worms) show called Once Upon a Time. This was his big line in his role as an ambiguously evil Rumplestiltskin:
Darius Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Is there a player in league that has hurt their team more than Dozier this year? He's a total black hole and they kept running him out in the leadoff spot, clean up spot, etc. Looking at his "close and late" numbers....it's appalling. Adriana is literally a more potent offensive threat right now than Dozier.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Every year, Ole and Lena would go to the airshow at the local airport. Every year, Ole would plead with Lena to let him take a ride in the aerobatic plane. And every year, Lena would say, "No, Ole. Dat ride costs ten dollars, and ten dollars is ten dollars." Finally, one year Ole had had enough. They were standing by the pilot, and Ole turned to Lena and said "Lena, I love you. But I'm seventy one years old, and I'm gonna take a ride in dat dere trick plane." The pilot, who had been hearing this for decades, looked at them and said, "Tell you what, folks. I'll give you a ride, and if you don't say a word through the whole flight, it'll be free. I won't charge the 10 bucks. But you can't say even a word." Ole looks at Lena, and she just starts moving toward the airplane. They both get in, and off they go. Not a single word comes from the back seats, through loops and inverted flight and climbs and dives and all sorts of trick flying. 30 minutes later, they land, and the pilot looks back to tell them the ride is free, since they said nothing. But he only sees Ole. "Ole!" he exclaims. "Where is Lena??" "Oh, she fell out back dere some place. Maybe five minutes after we took off." "Why didn't you say something??" yelled the pilot. "Well, wasn't much we could do ya know, and ten dollars is ten dollars."
