beckmt Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Looks like a club that would be fun to see. But do it early, many of these players could be in Fort Myers by July.
FormerMinnasotan Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 So, will Brustar Graterol going to join Cedar Rapids from EXST? I didn’t see his name on the roster, but given his talent level I don’t think he’ll start in Rookie league again this year.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Just FYI... We'll be posting roster previews throughout the week. Steve Buhr's Kernels preview will be posted tonight, and then each night we'll do another roster, working up to the Red Wings on Thursday night.

They'll want to keep his innings limited early in the season.

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I'm hoping it's a real battle between the two catchers for dominant playing time.

That’s what I figured...he’s got loads of potential and is young, no need to rush him this year since he only pitched 40 or so innings last year and had TJ surgery prior to that.

beckmt Verified Member Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I am hoping to be in Cedar Rapids for a game the end of June (last Monday).
Guest Guests Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Ordinarily, I'd say you'd better get to a Kernels series in April/May if you want to see all these top guys and, yes, a number of them will be getting promoted if you don't see the team in action until June or later. That said, this year there looks to be a lot of talent in the wings to come up behind the players that do get promoted. Wander Javier, Brusdar Graterol, Landon Leach, Yunior Severino, Robby Rinn and Jacob Pearson are just a few names that I'm anxious to see perhaps come up and contribute in Cedar Rapids during the summer.
