I seriously have to watch this show when the kids are out of the house rather than after they've gone to bed because I laugh much too loud. Very well done show so far.

Just watched the first two eps. Very very good. I'll probably have to watch in irregular doses because I won't subject Mrs Ash to that kind of entertainment, just as she doesn't insist I watch Gray's Anatomy with her.

What does anybody else think of the season finale? (Click away quick, if you don't want spoilers.) I think I like the way this series is heading. Looks for all the world like they will do 8 episodes with totally self-contained story arcs. Jim Brockmire in the one podunk town was fun but looked ultimately limiting for stories. Jim Brockmire for 8 episodes in The Big Easy could be a blast, and then it will be time to move on again. I suppose a different locale for every 8 episodes could itself become a trap, but I suspect they'll find ways to keep things loose, if they have enough commercial success for that to ever become a problem.

I really enjoyed the arc of the whole season. It was a very well done show so far. The episode with the other sports writers was golden.

Finally got around to finishing this. Who knew Joe Buck was funny? Also I have never before and doubt I will ever again hear the phrase "you snorted my abortion". Looking forward to season 2 for sure.
