This is a great example on why it's foolish to sign mediocre talent so early on in an off season:

FWIW, Castillo grades out poorly in framing, I read? Maybe he would be a good platoon partner for Castro?

 

Of course, I doubt we ready to completely give up on Murphy, and I am sure Castillo will have better suitors.

Hindsight is 20/20.  If they Twins didn't sign Castro and didn't get anyone else of value people would be pissed about it.  Also, who's to say Castillo would even sign with the Twins.  If he's that good he should have multiple teams offering him a contract.
