World Series Game 3 Thread

Chicago won Game 2 to take back home field advantage. It is now a Best of 5 series with the first three games being played in Chicago. It's Kyle Hendricks taking the mound against Josh Tomlin. The DH is gone in the National League park. The story is that Kyle Schwarber was not cleared to play in the field at this time, so he is only available to DH these next three games. Cleveland can't use the DH either, so Mike Napoli is in the field which pushes Carlos Santana out to left field. Should be interesting! What'll happen?

Here are the lineups:

Chicago:

Dexter Fowler CF

Kris Bryant 3B

Anthony Rizzo 1B

Ben Zobrist LF

Willson Contreras C

Jorge Soler RF

Javier Baez 2B

Addison Russell SS

Kyle Hendricks SP

Cleveland:

Carlos Santana LF

Jason Kipnis 2B

Francisco Lindor SS

Mike Napoli 1B

Jose Ramirez 3B

Lonnie Chisenhall RF

Roberto Perez C (his wife had a baby in Cleveland yesterday)

Tyler Naquin CF

Josh Tomlin SP

Enjoy!

Enjoy? Ha! Try living here and getting around! Ugh. The red line is remeniscent of my time on Tokyo subways at rush hour except it's much, much more smelly here. Good times. :)

My condo building doesn't allow airbnb rentals.

Great drama tonite at Wrigley.

Cody Allen, 23rd round draft pick of Cleveland in 2011, out of St. Petersburg College. He is one cool cucumber.

(Twins drafted Tim Shibuya 20 picks later).

Allen is the only member for the 23rd round of that draft to make the majors.

I personally love to see guys that weren't bonus-babies rise to the top like that.

edit: 2011 was the Levi Michael, Travis Harrison, Hudson Boyd draft. The only Twins' 2011 pick to make MLB so far is 40th rounder Kyle Barraclough, who did not sign and became a 7th rounder of St. Louis in 2012, and was ultimately traded to Miami.
