Game Thread: Twins @ Royals 4/10 1:15PM

[HitInAPinch]

oh, crap

[Squirrel]

Well, ****

[Aggies7]

Hilarious. What a team.

[Lee-The-Twins-Fan]

Now Morales has a sac fly. Tie game.

[a-wan]

Remember velocity isn't everything.

[nicksaviking]

92-MPH Perkins looks nothing like 95-MPH Perkins.

[Darius]

I just can't over how Terry Ryan thought a bullpen upgrade was unnecessary.

[Darius]

Remember velocity isn't everything.

Is that you, Terry?

[D. Hocking]

No problem - with the way we have been scoring we will easily get some points in the 10th and someone from the bull pen will shut them down next inning.

[NorthwestTwinsFan]

It's a good thing the Twins have invested so many early draft picks on relievers over the past 5 years.   Now they have two batting practice pitchers occupying the most crucial innings of the game.

Kepler is so freaking athletic!!! (Looking at the bright side.)

But it doesn't matter in right field. /s

It only kept this game tied instead of it being over.

[Aggies7]

90+ losses I regretfully predict. Weaknesses everywhere.

[a-wan]

Since 2011 until now, Perkins velocity according to fangraphs: 94, 94.9, 94.9, 93.4, 93.7, 91.2. Only like 3.5mph lost since his peak, nothing that isn't manageable.

[hybridbear]

Why is Perkins still the closer? It's time for him to be benched!

[Hrbowski]

I'm looking forward to the 2017 draft.

[Danchat]

Wow. Didn't think things could get worse.

Though, in hindsight, it's good that Sano got ejected because I don't think he catches that ball that Kepler got in RF. So that at least saved us the game...

[formerly33]

Rally Roger, I beseech thee to work thy magic.

Some "points"? What sport are you watching?

[twinsnorth49]

Nope

Then stop

[mikeee]

Can't blame Ricky today...

[HitInAPinch]

OUCHIE !  Hope it isn't broken....

[OrangeKicks]

Nuñéz goes 4-4 and then breaks his wrist? Can't make this stuff up.

Do I detect a little sarcasm here?

Is it baseball? I mean it's the Twins so I can't be sure.

[OrangeKicks]

Next Thursday is supposed to be nice and you can get tickets starting at $5! #brightside

Nunez: Lowest threshold for pain on Earth.

Nice try.  Curious why Twins didn't challenge...

[a-wan]

I've got nothing for that stolen base, except at least his helmet stayed - wait never mind.

[Mr. Brooks]

You can't make an out on the bases as the winning run in extra innings.
