Does anybody know what Park makes in Korea?

No wonder pitchers in Korea don't have fastballs. By custom, they throw 20-25 innings worth of pitches to just get warmed up, before they even throw a pitch in the game. (though I also wouldn't be surprised if Nitkowski is stretching it for effect, either.)

I thought I heard $600 K a year, but I'm not entirely sure about that.

Seems low. Andrew Albers got a "high six figures" guarantee when he went over there. I would imagine Park would have received (or at least be in line to receive) more than that.

Very interesting (and very long) article about Korean baseball. Shockingly, some good insight in the comments, too.

The clubhouse stuff is really interesting.  NPB isn't the KBO but I wonder if the cultures are close enough that it was a factor in the Nishioka disaster.

I am excited about Park, I hope he adjusts well.  Ryan/Molitor seem to value clubhouse culture highly which hopefully will help.
