Without checking records, 2009 (was that the last year int he Dome) may have too. Morneau and Kubel had 30, I think, and I imagine Cuddyer was at least 20.

I'm not sure they have what I would call a "deep" lineup, they can go down 1-2-3 in any given inning but also seems like they can unload 4-5 runs in any given inning too.

This squad has an interesting mix of speed/power. Not base stealing speed so much but enough to pressure the pitcher and take advantage of past balls and such. I wonder if that is part of the reason for "lucky" sequencing.

Yeah, it's more than a little disconcerting no regular starter has a batting average over .271.

That's... Not awesome.

On top of that, only one starter (Sano) has a good OBP and only one other has even an acceptable OBP (Mauer). The rest of the team is varying shades of pretty bad at getting on base.

When a team starts hitting home runs usually their strikeouts go up too.  If Sano plays the entire season, he might've set a major league record for strikeouts. He has 115 in 77 games.  I think the record is around 220.  Dozier shattered the Twins record as he has 146 in 153 games.  So the good with the Twins starting to show some power, but also the batting averages have gone down.  Even Super Joe is over a 100 on the season.  But it is nice to see the Twins playing meaningful games all the way through the season.

Its funny how quickly the identify of the offense changed. Last year they were among the leaders in walks. This year their OBP has taken a hit but they have been "clutch." Maybe next year it all comes together? It was encouraging to see Nunez and Rosario both draw walks in the same inning the other day. And Santana last night (that was huge).
