Agreed he's pretty much useless right now, but who do we have to replace him? Do we leave Duensing in the rotation permanently? The only reason he's still pitching now is that there aren't many alternatives.

It looked like the fielder had a chance to catch it, so he had to hover near second until it dropped.

I was a ball that the outfielder should have caught -- it bounced off his glove -- so Mauer had to wait.
