SwainZag Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, I looked around a bit, but an article from Anthony Castrovince of mlb.com. Outlines a lot of things posters have brought up in the baseruns thread. A lot of stats, a nifty Hicks catch video and worth a read. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/128047826/anthony-castrovince-5-signs-twins-arent-fluke
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I agree, having potential reinforcements is great, if they are used. I also agree, Mauer and Suzuki need to be better to reduce the fluky outcomes so far produced. I do have confidence Mauer can do more, and that DH can be better. I also agree, improving corner OF defense does matter.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 The "holding leads" part is the one that concerns me the most, I am still hesitant to declare Boyer a season long 8th inning guy, if Meyer could step up (or Oliveros) it would go along ways IMHO.

But it's also a credit to Molitor that he's willing to use Perkins in the 8th inning (and credit to Perkins for doing it well).
