Is Santana soon to be sent down, if Escobar can play like this??? Not that he did much, but they want him in the lineup and i dont want him in LF, and Santana is struggling.......Polanco is more than on  his heals for playing time at the MLB level.

Bremer raised the question and drifted away from it.  If the winning continues, you aren't talking about player development any more and it might be that right now Eduardo Escobar is a better player than Danny Santana.

They did.  Overall, the team D is much improved from early in the season.  Torii had a nice little catch just over the wall in the right field stands.  Rosario was crisp and competent in Left.  Escobar played a good short.   There was a nice DP (Plouffe-Dozier-Mauer) w/no one out (if I remember right).

Confidence seems to have a wonderful effect on competence.

Torii didn't catch the ball but made a nice attempt.  The double play got Nolasco out of a troublesome first inning (one out, two on).

Oops! I really thought he got it.

New song. Inspired by the movie "Three Amigos". It might not be for everyone. ;)

I don't believe there is any doubt that the Twins really like Escobar. They have been very good at keeping his bat in the line-up and Santana's struggles to this point, do not seem like a mirage.

It could be very likely Santana is not too far away from an airplane ticket to Rochester, NY.

I don't think there is any "might" about it, Escobar is a more complete player than Santana right now. With Hicks providing good defense in CF and the big bats ready to return soon I think Santana could be one of the players on the outside looking in after the next set of moves. I don't have a problem with that.
