Mauer with an RBI double and then creates the opportunity for the 2nd run to even happen.

 

But he is still terrible according to the loud minority.

I signed up for http://www.southsidesox.com/ just so I can troll the Sox fans. Much to my surprise, no game thread yet.

 

I did announce on the Sox game thread Thursday evening that I was going to be back to give and take abuse Friday evening.

 

Have the Sox fans given up already?

 

By the way, the Sox site posted a picture of the actual lineup card, which I thought was pretty cool. 

 

Going through the game thread, though, it appears a lot of Sox fans are, shall we say, unhappy with their team.

 

hahahahaha...may the Twins bats beat the Sox into oblivion.

Heh... I saw your post when I was over there trolling.  It's almost as good as listening to Hawk whine to read the fatalistic comments over there.

Reason to be a Vikings fan, not Notre Dame.

He's in the collegiate Hall of Fame, too.

 

Alan Page trivia: since he was born and raised in Canton, Ohio when he was in high school he took a job on a construction team building the Pro Football HoF.

And Gameday just calmly states that "Carlos Sanchez lines out to center fielder Aaron Hicks."

 

I remember following the gameday feed on a day when the Twins weren't on TV in 2003.

 

It was the game that Shannon Stewart made a game tying hit and Dustin Mohr broke Bengie Molina's wrist that allowed Shannon Stewart to come all the way home and win it in walk off fashion.

 

I think that was the most anti-climactic gameday statement I ever read.

I would love to trade any combination of Hughes/Santana/Nolasco/Pelfrey and be the first team next year to go with 3 - 3 inning pitchers per game. It's bound to happen eventually-let's start the transition party! Any takers?

This is from a different thread. All I can say is, my prospect Luke Westphal's the man for you! Anyone else know why he got pulled already?
