Twins are now tied for the MLB lead with 31 triples, which is higher than their season total in 2014, 2013, 2012, or 2011.

Twins record in months with names longer than 3 letters: 34-44. Based on this, projected record in months with names longer than 3 letters: 59-76. Based on this, projected 2015 record: 79-83. This very similar to the record predicted by many of us before the start of the season. Still wish I could have bet the over in Vegas in March.

I will post a fun one eventually but this stunned me when I heard it last night:

Mark Buehrle has 30 career wins against the Twins.

Didn't see this mentioned: Twins are 29-80 against the Yanks their last 109 meetings.

I'm surprised at this. It sure feels worse than that.

At this writing, the 2015 Minnesota Twins have a staff ERA of 4.53 and a staff FIP of 4.46. Do we now have emerging proof that this year's defense is approximately major league average and should not be held as an excuse for underperformance like last year?

/ double check the thread title before going off on any deep ends... :)

Have you actually watched our OF defense this year vs. last year?

Twins actually did not lost a series at Yankee Stadium from 2012-14 and had the best road record against the Yankees in the AL from 2012-14 (admittedly 10 games, but still).
