Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 May needs a good start, but gives up a homer in the first.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Followed by a double and a triple. Not looking good for Trevor.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 2B Sean-Rod Is that a Sean invention?
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Followed by a double and a triple. Not looking good for Trevor. Looks like Mike Pelfrey now has the chance tomorrow to be The Last Man Standing.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 And now in the 3rd the Pirates have a hit of each variety so far this game.
big dog Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 And May gives up a single to start the 3rd. He's thrown the dreaded Reverse Cycle!! Homer, triple, double, single.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Looks like Mike Pelfrey now has the chance tomorrow to be The Last Man Standing.Yes, and I'm pulling for him.
big dog Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Yes, and I'm pulling for him. Yeah, hopefully someone can fill that position through something other than attrition. Let's get a strong start out of someone and hope he can build on it.
Tibs Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Rhett Bollinger @RhettBollinger 3h3 hours agoMike Pelfrey not listed among upcoming probables: Santanta tomorow vs PHI, Nolasco on Sunday at BAL & Gibson on Monday at BOS. Has something changed?
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Hughes and Pelfrey both in minor league games? I'll be sure to be there.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 On cue, Duensing to the rescue.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Get the hook! May's had it. Out of 8 hits given up by May, 7 were XBH, including 2 HRs. Only 2 Ks to go along with one BB. Not exactly seizing the opportunity.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Out of 8 hits given up by May, 7 were XBH, including 2 HRs. Only 2 Ks to go along with one BB. Not exactly seizing the opportunity. Sigh.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 I'm so glad tomorrow's game is on TV. I keep telling myself I'll keep an eye on game day and then it's two hours later and the game is mostly over. Sorry to see May's performance here. I really thought he had gained the inside track.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Sorry to see May's performance here. I really thought he had gained the inside track. Crap Any chance the #5 SP sweepstakes could be re-opened? J R Graham has earned a look-see, and let's recall Berrios and Meyer for another go at it.

zenser Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I think Graham is a lock now. I wasn't sure he was going to make it but now I would be surprised if he didn't.
