Top Prospects Percentage Chances of Making the Big Leagues

This is just my opinion.  

 

OF-Buxton:  25%.. I just think he may need another year.  I would LOVE him starting at CF, but he is a BIG part of the future.

3B-Sano:  50%.. He is definitely more ready than Buxton.  Like Buxton, there is no need to hurry him.  I think we will see him eventually this year but it all depends on him staying healthy.  

P-Meyer:  100%.. The kid is 25.  It is time to see if what he has to offer.  He will eventually be playing in Target.

P-Berrios:  25%.. I think he could benefit from one more year in Minors, but he may be too good to keep down.

SS-Gordon:  0%

P-Stewart:  0%

IF-Polanco:  50%..Made his debut last year.  He also is young and could benefit from one more year in Minors. But, is it possible he pushes his way in?  Maybe move Santana back to CF?

P-Burdi:  90%.. The bullpen is a major concern.  He should be up this year to help us.  He is old enough.

OF-Rosario:  100%..Has a chance to make the team right away.  More likely, he will be the first position player to be called up.  

P-Thorpe:  0%..

P-May:  100%...

P-Reed:  50%..Can he help the bullpen?

OF-Walker:  0%

C-Turner:  10%....

OF-Kepler:  0%

P-Graham:  95%

P-T. Rogers:  30%.. A lot of intriguing young bullpen candidates and this southpaw is one.  He could eventually be Duensing's eventually replacement.

P-T. Duffey:  50%..  

 

These are just my thoughts.. Just wondering what yours are.  I know I am a nerd.. But just like talking about this.  I love some of our young arms that can help our bullpen eventually (Burdi, Reed, Graham, Rogers)..

Agree with almost all your percentages.

 

Think Sano might be a pinch higher and Reed just a tad lower, percent-wise.

 

Love both Reed and Burdi...hope they are up as soon as humanly possible, as long as they are ready. Need some relievers that can miss bats.

 

One other guy that is not listed but may be at nearly 100% to debut this year...Jason Wheeler. He will most likely start in AAA but will be called up if a Twins starter goes on the DL and a southpaw is needed. Kind of the Kris Johnson role of '15.

I think Buxton and Sano are in that 90-100% range. IF the Twins are setting up for 2016 and beyond you have to get your studs' feet wet this year. 2016 then becomes a good year of learning and improving for both after they've had an introduction to the Big Leagues TY. Also, the FO has hinted that they'd be up this year.

If Buxton comes up, it will be a September callup at the earliest. I'd guess May-June of '16.

Why call up Buxton in September, and lose a year of control. That would be insane, imo.

I think it is a near lock Rosario is up at some point, and at least one of those bullpen arms will be up. I'd be surprised if it is two of them.

I think Buxton is more likely a next year guy, unless he's destroying AA this spring. They wouldn't lose a year of control calling him up in September, but they would gain one by waiting till next May, and they'd get an extra arb year waiting till next June.

When I first read this I didn't read the contending part.  I thought you said simply "unless CF is a hole".
