Bregman is having an impressive spring. .330/.420/.588. 8 HRs, 17 doubles, 3 triples in 182 ABs. Also 26/31 in SBs. He's the best hitter on the best hitting team in the conference so far.

What is the depth at catcher and corner OF?

Actually, looking at the SEC stats for all players (http://assets.espn.go.com/sec/baseball/2015/lgplyrs.htm), something called Andrew Benintendi of Arkansas is leading the conference by OPS. 5' 10" outfielder from Arkansas. Probably worth considering strength of schedule differences so far, some cream puffs.

Org wise?  I think Turner is the catcher of the future and Rosario, Kepler, Walker, Harrison are potential corner OFers.  (Same with Hicks and Sano, too).

6. Twins
Callis: Mike Nikorak, RHP, Stroudsburg (Pa.) HS. Minnesota isn't afraid to take high school arms early -- see Kohl Stewart at No. 4 in 2013 -- and Nikorak has the stuff, athleticism and pitchability to become the best pitcher in this Draft class.
Mayo: Alex Bregman, SS, Louisiana State. The Twins could have interest in Rodgers or Cameron, should they still be here. Save that, Bregman is the best position player available, one who has performed well at a top-notch program and could move fairly quickly.

 

Interesting note: Mayo is guessing Aiken goes #7 to the Red Sox. 

I'd be ok with either of those picks but I'm really interested in Nikorak.  Seems like he could be a pleasant surprise a few years from now.

I think it shows the depth we have.....but the high end guys are starters, CF, 3B, and SS. And my gut says Arcia or Vargas will lock down DH for a long time.  

 

As an FYI, you don't want to draft on need at 6. But if you have guys that are graded about the same I would take a corner OF or catcher over say a CF or SS.

First I've heard if Nikoriak.  I like that if what I just read here was true.  I'm still leaning Happ, but I like the idea of a HS pitcher if he has a decent chance of being the best overall.
