If humans evolved from Monkeys... How come we still have monkeys?

We evolved from a very specific family of monkeys which no longer exists:

I'm sick of The Twins yearly September Swoon:

 

Swoon: "to become unconscious," probably from a lost Old English verb *swogan (as in Old English aswogan "to choke"), of uncertain origin. Compare Low German swogen "to sigh."

Ok... How Many Clouds have to go away to transfer from partly cloudy to partly sunny?

The same number as the number of hits or perhaps runs that the Twins deliver to drive triumphantly Scherzer out of the game.  (I am assuming we will get this answer shortly).

I believe it is feather. But realistically it could be The Pony or the Hat. It depends on the effect the ether has on Yankee Doodle on that given day.

Looking at the standings, and seeing other teams on winning streaks, it made me wonder: Why can't the Twins go on a two- or three-week tears? Other teams do it all the time. Heck, even Houston and San Diego are playing well. Failing that, I really thought we wouldn't fade like the last three years. And then we did.

 

But for reasons I can't put my finger on, I'm really optimistic. And it would be a blast to give the Tigers a good series. They'll be tight. We shouldn't be.

 

That is all.

But the twins have gone on 2-3 weeks "tears" for 4 years now! Now that I think of it, it's really a 3-4 year tear!
