Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Unfortunate news out of the nation's capitol: Wilson Ramos tore his ACL and will be out for the rest of the season. As if this guy hasn't gone through enough over the last year. Rooting for a quick recovery.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 No kidding... Hopefully surgery goes well and he can come back at 100%
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Yeah. Hope he is back soon. Messed up knees are tough on catchers though. Wonder whether the Nationals might want some Butera to go with their Span now...
TKGuy Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Doumit has to look good for them now since Butera hits worse than the pitcher. Tough news for Ramos though.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Matt Capps is healthy tho:D

twinstalker Verified Member Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I think they have a pretty good catching prospect (Norris?)Traded to Oakland in the Gio deal. I do hope, though, we trade our good obp, good lead-off, good CF, good contract, and one of the few hopes for the future. That would be a great idea.
Top Gun Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I wonder how much we could get for Gardy?
DAM DC Twins Fans Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Nats have Jesus Flores to catch--he was huge prospect a couple of years ago--then got hurt--now catching once or twice per week--will step up. No Nats wont take Butera. Wont give up Lombardozzi (another Twin son) either.
