snepp Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Is Plouffe responsible for Dozier's sore back, too? And Mauer's extended slump.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Why in the world do you pitch to Ortiz here?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Is Plouffe responsible for Dozier's sore back, too? There would be nothing wrong with that.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Surprised they pitched to Ortiz, didn't like the 0-2 pitch at all, but it worked. Another outstanding outing from Hughes.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Is Plouffe responsible for Dozier's sore back, too? It's possible. You'd have to ask Dozier.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 And Mauer's extended slump. I blame Morneau for that.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Twins caught a break on the Pedroia hit. Finally the wall causes an out (in an obscure and contested fashion...)
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Willingham takes a lot of heat for his D, but more often than not I see him making good plays.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Willingham takes a lot of heat for his D, but more often than not I see him making good plays. Me too, It does surprise me to see how non-athletic he is though.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Me too, It does surprise me to see how non-athletic he is though. He fields like he's trying to not step on the flowers.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Morales looks like crap all of the sudden and Arica's just blindly swinging at everything.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 These last three games have put a severe strain on the rubber band. Not to mention my disposition. Edit: Oh well, we'll always have last Friday night.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Oh well. Thanks for company.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 These last three games have put a severe strain on the rubber band. Not to mention my disposition. I've been drinking beer and cooking fajitas, so how irked could I really be?
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Spending another night watching weather. Photos of new tornados tonight -- northeast of the big one yesterday. That's enough of this now.

Unless you are venturing out for the entire night, I think you're in good shape. Still southwest of me -- its in northeast NE -- should take a long time to move northeast. Looks pretty clear to the north and east of me for now. So have a good walk.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Frustrating for sure but I'll take a string of low scoring one run losses over the clown car pitching performances of April (or 2013) any day.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 It does look like most rain will stay south of the TC.

Well, we wanted good pitching -- and we're getting that. Now if the bats would come alive. Maybe they need some sacrificial chickens.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 It does look like most rain will stay south of the TC. That's merciful. I'm spending the next week in Orlando. I'm sure I'll see more rain than I can handle anyway.

curt1965 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I'm an Arcia guy, but I wouldn't be adverse to a little trip to Rochester for him. He needs a little bit of humility. Doesn't look like he has a plan at the plate. Don't think he has had a hit since May! Unfortunately, there are no other options. Twins OF is a mess right now, IMO.
