    In the same week the man runs 9 plus miles and celebrates 48 years of marriage. Very impressive.

    Yeah I get that. My thoughts are if he starts throwing now and for the next month, if anybody can get their command back, I would bet on Maeda who has had sublime command and control of multiple pitches in his career. However I'm not sure it is likely.

    Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic: "Falvey wouldn’t rule out the Twins saying “go” to Maeda were the club to reach the playoffs. With his one-year surgery anniversary coming up Thursday and the Twins ideally needing him only in relief, it’s possible Maeda pitches in October."

    First off nothing personal against any of these guys they all seem like good people. My favorite combination was Perk and LaTroy, nothing too serious all the time and I liked the banter. So in descending order Perk, LaTroy, Smalley and far in the rear Morneau. Honestly when I see him on I am disappointed. Perk is a nice combination of light banter and info if a little wordy. LaTroy keeps it simple and concise. Nice quiet stretches during the game. Smalley is a little old school for my tastes and not smooth, but a good vibe with him. Morneau needs a new editing circuit. He says things twice thinking he needs to explain further. He speaks double the words necessary. The golfer who takes 12 practice swings. Everything links to the psychological side of the game, confidence, which could be interesting but only once in a while. What is the opposite of edgy? A glass of warm milk. Which brings me to the guy I really like, AJ Pierzinski.

    Geez this guy is a composed pros pro, when he does return, next year or this, I'm counting on him. He's been pitching for years with a weakened elbow, he might just be better.

    This is interesting and I agree Bundy has outstripped my expectations. However this time period does cherry pick Ryan's worst stretch after COVID.

    Smeltz isn't suited to short or fireman relief but long relief, I think so. Getting Pagán in and then Devin soaking up some innings makes the pen better overall

    No but if I'm solo or with newbies I teather to a jackline. Don't want to fall off the boat if your companions don't know how to retrieve you!

    Steep is right and the SHT is known to be difficult because of it. Fun fact Lake Superior has more shipwrecks per square mile than any other body of water. I've sailed it extensively and would chalk it up to the steepness of the waves which are much closer together than the oceans.

    For me it was a muggy 4.4 miles which my watch said was 2200 feet. I'm a little sceptical of that number, but whoever called Minnesota flat hasn't hoofed it around Duluth.
