  1. Yikes that is a lot of money. Yes the going rate for a LT. Hope the guy can stay healthy.
  2. 1.4 years of Berrios? 2 years like this and I'm good. Sim is only 23. 6 years of this.....
  3. Strib says 4 years up to 113 million, yikes
  4. I got bottom of the 4th DET 2 CLE 2. Detroit used an opener for 1.2 scoreless.
  5. I could see him maybe get a look down the stretch next year. There is no way he is ready now. Has he had one or two TJ surgeries, lol? He definitely is in a unique grey area there. If you count it as one, there is no reason he can't have a long career as countless others have. It is a unique case. Have one surgery, come back and immediately have discomfort, then go back into surgery and have the brace added. I don't think there is any available data on that scenario.
  6. I would prefer if pennies were eliminated and one of effect and affect were were also eliminated. Which one would have no effect on me.
  7. Hey the Brew Crew is clapping to our ballpark sounds effects
  8. I agree with the first part. I may be misunderstanding the bolded part, but isn't it a contradiction? This is where I run into a problem with the spreadsheet comments. A person assesses data, either acquired by the "eye test", from perusing accessable (published?) data, communicating with others, or a combination of the three. Any manager does the same. In the case you mention, undoubtedly Baldelli saw that pinch hit data. Yes maybe on a spreadsheet, lol. Yet he went against it. Somehow others see the data themselves. Yes maybe on a spreadsheet, lol. Then use that data to argue that Baldelli is stifled by his dependence on the spreadsheet. Maybe I just am thick.
  9. Just another fine start from Morris, does he follow Zebby? Prielipp with a second encouraging outing. He hasn't been hit at all yet. Good so far, baby steps.
  10. It's not out of the question that Julien has a good run. He's at second, Lee at short and Castro at 3rd. Miranda back tomorrow.
