  1. Berrios and Pineda and pray for a tornada. ?
  2. It's amazing that after a month of being sidelined with injury, Byron Buxton is still the Twins leader in WAR (2.7) with Polanco at a distant next at 1.3 WAR.
  3. Pretty much "it" for me too. So disappointing. A train wreck. Congrats to Griffin Jax . . welcome to the bigs. Go get um next time.
  4. # The ball was coming out of his hand real good and his pitches had excellent movement. Advanced metrics showed that any day now he would actually throw a strike.
  5. That win probability chart is like a flatline. About represents the Twins this season.
  6. Just say it was 14-5, and it wasn't even that close. I've seen more life by poking a dead hedgehog with a stick.
  7. No, and no. Nobody really comes back from TOS. And JBJ, just no.
  8. At least we have the Vikings to look forward to.
  9. Kohl Stewart made a start for the Cubs on Monday and beat the Padres 7-2. He went 5 innings for the win, only giving up 1 unearned run on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 2. He even made a dazzling behind-the-back look what I found catch of a hot grounder, throwing out the smiling batter at 1B. His sinker looked heavy and effective.
  10. The Wind Surge's Winder throws a stinker of a sinker.
  11. From happening dudes, to what the hell happened dudes.
  12. With the current and projected winning percent for this season equalling suckage, stick Astudillo out there. At least it would be entertaining.
  13. How have we even won 22 games?
  14. If the season is sink, sank, sunk then trade him for prospects and resign him in the winter if we want him back.
  15. The crappy-ass Twins bats somehow produced only 3 runs which were enough to beat the horrid Baltimore Orioles 3-2. ?
  16. Wow, how quickly our core of signed young "stars" that would form the core of the new Twins dynasty are turning into trade fodder. Something is amiss in Targetfieldville and I'm not sure a couple of trades is going to exercise the demons of losses and uninspiring play.
  17. Ah yes, the alignment of the spheres and all that. Ya know, might be just as viable a cause as anything else considering how funky the season has been so far for the Twins.
  18. My sinker isn't sinking due to home plate gravitational disturbances.
  19. I had a case of temporary bi-lateral leg weakness.
  20. I guess the next time he blows up we can just say, "What the Happ?"
  21. It could just be happenstance.
  22. Ball go up, ball come down.
  23. Check out the Yankees lineup today. The 3 outfielders are batting 7-8-9. I don't think I've ever seen a Yankee lineup like that.
