    Kohl Stewart made a start for the Cubs on Monday and beat the Padres 7-2. He went 5 innings for the win, only giving up 1 unearned run on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 2. He even made a dazzling behind-the-back look what I found catch of a hot grounder, throwing out the smiling batter at 1B. His sinker looked heavy and effective.

    Wow, how quickly our core of signed young "stars" that would form the core of the new Twins dynasty are turning into trade fodder. Something is amiss in Targetfieldville and I'm not sure a couple of trades is going to exercise the demons of losses and uninspiring play.
