  1. With the current and projected winning percent for this season equalling suckage, stick Astudillo out there. At least it would be entertaining.
  2. How have we even won 22 games?
  3. If the season is sink, sank, sunk then trade him for prospects and resign him in the winter if we want him back.
  4. The crappy-ass Twins bats somehow produced only 3 runs which were enough to beat the horrid Baltimore Orioles 3-2. ?
  5. Wow, how quickly our core of signed young "stars" that would form the core of the new Twins dynasty are turning into trade fodder. Something is amiss in Targetfieldville and I'm not sure a couple of trades is going to exercise the demons of losses and uninspiring play.
  6. Ah yes, the alignment of the spheres and all that. Ya know, might be just as viable a cause as anything else considering how funky the season has been so far for the Twins.
  7. My sinker isn't sinking due to home plate gravitational disturbances.
  8. I had a case of temporary bi-lateral leg weakness.
  9. I guess the next time he blows up we can just say, "What the Happ?"
  10. It could just be happenstance.
  11. Ball go up, ball come down.
  12. Check out the Yankees lineup today. The 3 outfielders are batting 7-8-9. I don't think I've ever seen a Yankee lineup like that.
  13. Nice to see Garver as one of the top 3 WPA guys instead of the "Man do I suck" list.
  14. Perhaps Happ is happy since his performance wasn't hapless. ?
  15. Off subject here, but does anyone know if Michael Davis the infielder drafted in 2018 out of Texas Tech is still in our system? Baseball Reference has his last stats in 2019 and I've seen no mention of him this year. Ok, I looked around and answered my own question. Baseball America says he voluntarily retired Jan. 20, 2020. He debuted with a solid 2018 then struggled in 2019. I wonder what the story is.
  16. << The team's recent run of near-competence has at least one fan convinced that things are turning around. >> Perfect article for this morning as I was thinking the same thing. So far this baseball season has been brutal for Twins fans and I am as guilty as the next guy for wanting to kick each guy on the roster in the behind and yell bad things at them. But being an optimistic sort I am ready to "root the comeback". The next 10 games gives us an opportunity to get our act together. Go Twins!
  17. I thought he looked pretty good behind the dish this game.
  18. The "nonsensical foot motion" may be more a mechanism to prevent over swinging or an affirmation of completing the energy transfer through his body as he swings. Good question about soreness/injury potential.
  19. Gordo gets to stick around.
