  1. Hendriks is the head scratcher for me since he still had options remaining. Maybe when they designated him for assignment in 2013 the front office thought they might sneak him through waivers. Oops.
  2. It worked for Kirby Puckett.
  3. Alcala, Garver, Kepler, Kiriloff, alphabetically of course.
  4. Having Nelson Cruz in the lineup also takes some pressure off the other hitters and helps their production, not to mention his clubhouse and team influence. Cruz's presence on the roster is more than the sum of its parts.
  5. Yep and yep. 1 year $8 mil deal. Will probably be their starting left fielder since no other outfielder on their roster can hit. It will be weird seeing him a Cleveland Baseball Team uniform. I thought the Cubs might sign him, but I guess not. They went with Joc Pederson.
  6. Except, they're not the Indians any more. And, they don't have a name yet because they didn't really plan this out. MLB encouraged the name change and the Indians went forward with it. 2 groups without a plan. What do you call that place between 2 boobs? The Cleavage. Good name for the team in Cleveland.
  7. Do not dis The Dobnak.
  8. man, that nelson cruz gif with the fake people is creepy.
  9. jan. 25th and they still can't figure this out???
  10. I think Polanco and Arraez make a fine keystone duo. As long as Polanco's ankles are up to it, we can win and win big with these guys. Maybe not the greatest defense, but I'll take a good hitter who can hold his own at a position over a good glove-poor hit starter.
  11. As you can see in the photo, the ballpark was located in one of the more populated areas of Fargo.
  12. I guess we're "aiming higher" for reserve middle infielder, or we're going with in-house options. I thought eye-ray did a nice job.
  13. LF-CF-RF . . . Ruth-Mays-Aaron . . . I win.
  14. Ditto that.
  15. Only for the other 29 teams.
  16. What? The land of 10,000 lakes and a few wierdos isn't the mecca of all that represents good living? Shocked I say, just shocked.
  17. Paxton actually has better platoon splits against right-hand hitters.
  18. Twins international signing, $2.3MM, shortstop Danny De Andrada.
  19. It's been 6 months since Kluber was diagnosed with a grade 2 tear of the teres major muscle in his right shoulder. I'm pretty sure he has had ample time to rest and rehab the injury and believe he'll be able to ramp up for a normal spring training and full season. Broken arm, oblique strain, shoulder muscle tear; it's been a rough time for him but at age 35 and with his ability to pitch and velocity returning, I think he could be a significant contributor to our rotation. We took a flyer on Rich Hill last year. I think Kluber could provide more value.
  20. The Pale Hose are spending a lot of money for 1 inning a game, 65-85 innings a season.
