    Correa's character? Did he get accused by 23 women of assault? The best time I had last year was booing the Astros until my throat was sore., and was quite proud how loud Target Field booed them as well. But serious, his character makes this a terrible signing?     The Twins have shown a reliable history of saving and collecting previous season's saving and passing that along onto the next season.

    The MLB owners are the only professional sports ownership group that seem deadset on killing their relationship with their labor pool. Hell, the NFL owners don't guarantee their labor pool their salaries and have a better relationship with their players than MLB and the MLBPA. From the outside the owners wanting to rule over the players and combined with so many owners wanting to spend as little as possible that is the most greedy thing about these negotianegotiations. The players have played the last 3ish years under a CBA designed for the past. Maximized for older players, and those coming off strong pre-arb years. But the game changed and GM got smarter and stopped wanting to pay older players for what they did. The CBT argument from the players seems to be aimed at trying to get the middle of the road players more money since they are the ones getting effed by the current CBA. But of course paint the players as greedy.

    Spider-Man was great. A little downer of an ending, but eh. I can't say I've seen the original West Side Story, but did see something online about the new movie not using Spanish subtitle as a form of respect. That seemed a little too much.

    I’m not sure signing a 32 year old, who will be 33 when the season starts pitcher who just posted a career low K% and velocity, who also missed a lot of time with nagging injuries is adding stability.

    That is discernibly false, yes, with the variants the vaccines especially the mRNA vaccines are not as great at preventing spread as they were initially but they still do prevent spread in those are fully vaccinated. It isn’t 100%, but the mRNA vaccines do slow the spread. Whether due to lower viral load in the fully vaccinated person, they would be less likely to spread to others.

    Deolis Guerra has thrown a whopping 160 innings in his MLB career for 5 teams and is 32 years old. He isn't the love that was lost by the Twins. And as your own article said about Henriks he was bounced around after being DFA'd by the Twins. He also somewhere along the way found like 5 mph on his fastball, which ya know, might by an underlying reason he's better now. Perez was blasted so hard the first half of the season the Sawx took him out of the rotation. It has been highly publicized about Pressly refusing to try the adjustments from the Twins that he implemented with the Astros. It isn't as if the these pitchers just left and the Twins would be world beaters if they stayed.

    19 year olds coming off surgery are exactly what you trade. Cave was a useful player for 2 years. Keeping Cave while dumping Wade is what sucks.

    Viola is an out of touch crank. Not using all the information available to get better is ridiculous. Hamstringing a front office to out of touch people like Viola would set any team back.. It would be like not wanting your doctor to stay up to date on best practices because you like the old ways of medicine. "Give me my leeches, but stay away from me with this modern medicine!" The idea Baldelli, a former high level player isn't worried about fundamentals is stupid. It isn't his fault almost no one on the team is a good defensive player. You can only polish a turd so much. Larnach, Kirilloff, Arraez, Astudillo, Sano, Polanco, are not good defensive players. This continued idea about passion too. If Colomė, and the bullpen do not implode the first half, and the starters get hurt and the record is better what would it be said.L?

    Well, mutants are about to be introduced in the MCU. And while it goes against every SABR statnerd, computer computation, I have a feeling whatever happens in regards to Buxton will end with the bad outcome. Sign him and he'll forever be hurt, or if they don't sign him he'll leave and stay healthy.

    I'd love to hear a radiologists real opinion on their MR reads on pitchers elbows and shoulders. It would always show so much inflammation due to the stresses from pitching.

    Nah, just because it is second guessing the decision to move on from a currently 28 year old reliever who's been on 4 MLB teams since he left the team. Maybe the Vikings can bring back Jake Reed to help too.
