I think you’ll need to leave that up for the rest of us to decide
  2. nicksaviking
Doesn’t seem right that your team has 71 wins, finds itself in need of TWO starters and they actually want Aaron Sanchez, then he goes and pitches well.
  3. nicksaviking
We woulda been bragging about them even if you got here two hours late.
  4. nicksaviking
Trying to decide between a six or seven year extension for Nelson Cruz.

Unfortunate, I tend to sleep past 610 AM.

Your wife ever thinking of having you killed in January in St. Kitts? I’d be up for that.

I like Thorpe on the MLB roster, but they need to stretch him back out. Not enough starting depth and only he and Smeltzer should be considered in my opinion.

***Moderator Note That’s enough of the bickering and personal attacks.
  9. nicksaviking
That’s why strikeouts > groundouts by a landslide.

If the team is going to bring in ground all pitchers late in innings, they're going to need to defensive shift Sano. He and Adrianza are on the wrong bases.
  11. nicksaviking
I might think Nelson Cruz’s option might get picked up.
  12. nicksaviking
I’ve become less of a Sparkman fan the last couple of innings.
  13. nicksaviking
I find it interesting that aggressive base running now only occurs when the ball is in play but it’s the new norm, while stolen bases are way down league wide.
  14. nicksaviking
Let’s hope not. Keep him in there.
  15. nicksaviking
I just tread something about this and the home team can opt for this schedule. Most don’t, Friday’s tend to be good days at the gate.

Cleveland will get no love on this site.
  17. nicksaviking
I have a feeling Parker would too often violate this sites posting policies.

I'd love to see some Graterol, but I also want to see more Littell. He only had one outing where he gave up a run since his conversion to relief, but even better, unlike Stewart, Stashak, Harper, Duffey, Parker and May, I don't recall ever seeing the deer-in-the-headlights look on him.

Man, the Twins could really use Graterol and/or Balazovic to turn into the real deal. If they want to hand out more extensions, they need to find one or two cost controlled young starters, and not just guys who can slot into the back of the rotation. So that's two outings in a row for Alcala out of the pen, has the switch been made?
  20. nicksaviking
Well it depends if you had to bring your kids along on the flight. If so, you’d be better off running a marathon.
  21. nicksaviking
    This doesn’t look too gentle.
  22. nicksaviking
What’s Dyson’s return policy if you only use it once?
  23. nicksaviking
They’re drinking coffee and water and a music festival? Yeah, that generation is clueless
  24. nicksaviking
Not liking all the line drives today but maybe depending on the price. I might prefer him to Odorizzi actually. I don’t always get a sudden urge to pull Pineda after five innings.
  25. nicksaviking
Also, a young controllable starting pitcher would be more valuable to the Twins than a corner outfielder who is fighting internally with 5 other legit corner outfielders for position in a lineup that doesn't project to have room for any of them this year or next.
