    I hope the Twins get him, but even if they don't, I am going to be fascinated to see how this plays out. I never put much stock into the Mets new agent/GM and I wonder if he'll be able to swing a good deal for his team or if the wolves will be picking the meat off of his bones.

    Yeah, I've seen enough of Diekman to believe that Twins fans will be ready to roll him out the door before the week is up. If people are fed up with May and his command, they'd lose their minds with Diekman. I don't see him as an upgrade to what the team has now. Plus, he's historically been pretty LOOGYish, and I don't want a LOOGY, this team needs guys who can go a full inning or two.

    I still preferred the 2nd video with the sox bungling the infield fly. I like how each passing minute sees a new level of decline in Hawk's mental state because of the error.

    I was going to change the title to reflect that the team is playing Chicago, not KC, but I think it might be better this way as it makes it clear that neither organization is worth our time and effort. Tread, obviously is a nice touch as well.

    I really like the second one and even asked last year why no one ever taught their pitchers how to play LF so they could do this. I guess maybe 1B makes more sense. Anything that makes Angel Hernandez look bad should be celebrated.

    Maybe I should be ashamed of myself, but if someone was willing to give me $15,000 for something that I was going to give away for free, I'd probably take the money too.

    I doubt anyone thought that if Odorizzi could only make it three that Smeltzer would be just fine for four.

    Well they were the driving force behind fighting to keep the reserve clause and anti trust laws and amongst the last to integrate Negro League players. But hey, I guess if they weren’t, Willie Mays would have been a damn Yankee, so that’s a plus.

    Provus just said that Perkins tweeted that last nights loss was his fault. The idea being that Terry Ryan was so smitten after the HR Perkins gave up to Murphy in 2015 that Ryan thought it would be a good move to trade Hicks for him. Any Twiterer got that link? Sounds pretty funny, even if sad and perhaps partially true.

    I’ve had the same dentist since I was 14. At 16 they came in sideways and he told me to lose them because that’s give me trouble soon. I told him to screw off, they feel fine. He stopped asking to remove them 20 years ago and every 6 months since he still stares in my stanky mouth and asks me if they’re giving me trouble. Nope, the smooth side chews just fine.
