  1. Jefferson is lucky he didn't get his head taken off on that one.
  2. Why are all of his worst throws to the best receiver in the league?
  3. Accurate. That being your take, not his throws.
  4. 'Prior to the ball being snapped, false start on Dallas'. As opposed to the kinds of false starts that occur after the ball is snapped? This official was rubbing me the wrong way earlier in the game, now I realize why; he likes to hear himself talk.
  5. All these stunts are going to open up holes if the Vikings are guessing pass. I like the pressure though, so I'd keep at it.
  6. That would certainly be a fun three plays. Edit: Ninja'd
  7. Sounds like you guys are cooking up a Mahomes for McCarthy swap. We getting back a couple firsts too?
  8. For years I’ve been I’ve been saying some of the best QBs in the league are guys I’d never want to spend 5 minutes having a beer with. Ooof, JJM certainly fits the bill currently.
  9. Yeah, Bowles is done. Bad coaching and the defense absolutely bungled this game; his specialty.
  10. Wow, this is going to be a big TB choke.
  11. I won’t be surprised if Bowles is out even if they make the playoffs. It looks like a team with great parts, but no cohesive vision..
  12. I’m no radar gun, but it sure looks like he’s throwing harder than ever before.
  13. For sure. I’m just not sure I recall Cousins ever showing up his teammates before.
  14. Kirk has been chewing out quite a few of his WR tonight. And not an endearing Kirko way, but an ehhh, I'm feeling uncomfy watching this kind of way.
  15. I think you have to trade JJM Addison and two more 1st. And I do it. I want a young elite QB, but I don't think you should ever pass up the chance to get a current elite QB.
  16. If we're not sweating the defense at shortstop, wouldn't moving Royce Lewis back to shortstop accomplish the same task? If Abrams will have to move off of SS, I don't think I'm interested. His bat is only average and his on base skills are below average. But since he was a top prospect and still called a shortstop, you'll be paying top prices to acquire his services. Also, the Twins player I am most looking forward to with a new coaching staff is Royce Lewis. Of all the players, he seemed the most disillusioned with the old staff. Might not work out, but the payoff would be far and away the biggest if it did.
  17. Didn't even realize there was a Patrick Stewart one. Seems like he'd be a great choice for the role, but looking at IMDB, yeah, maybe we can moratorium on making new versions of this story. At least for the next couple of decades. Wow, looks like there's a new version out every other year.
  18. If they have 20M to spend, as Hayes also reported, they can spend it all on one guy as far as I'm concerned. Patching holes with the nickel and dime approach is probably my biggest pet peeve with this club. How they haven't learned by now that a low budget free agent is just as likely to be a bust as the guy they pick up off of the waiver wire or buy for a PTBNL/cash considerations is crazy. It happens all the time.
  19. I prefer to think of it not as the Twins paying 33M for Correa to leave, but paying 33M for the rights to Mike Wazowski I mean Matt Mallony sorry, Mick McKinley? Whatever, you know, the guy who plays baseball that the Twins traded Correa for.
  20. It's easy when you file an extension for you tax returns and run them fiscal year instead of calendar year. Plenty of time mid-year to change up the debt. Minnesota Twins LLC can easily absorb the losses from Joe P's Great Idea 1065, something like this:
  21. The death of Emperor Palpatine surely.
  22. Reading the 'Top Available' lists for the Rule V, just about every single one of those pitchers had pretty big control issues. The Twins already seem to have a bunch of soon-to-be-reliever options they can put in the pen, including Culpepper and Lewis who weren't drafted but looked pretty much the same as the guys that did.
  23. If I were to make a list of hardest things to evaluate in baseball, 17-year-old catchers might top that list. But it's fine by me, I preferred the Twins didn't roster a pick anyway.
  24. I watched Home Alone for the first time in a long while last Christmas. Previously I hadn't realized how slow it was to build up. Everyone remembers the Battle at McCallister Mansion, but that's only like the last 15 maybe 20 minutes of the movie. Also, the best Christmas Carol movie is the 1951 version. George C Scott was pretty good as scrooge, but his movie was only OK. Sorry Muppets and Michael Caine. To be fair to the Muppets, that movie came out when I was too old to still like Muppets, but too young to appreciate it with my kids.
