  1. Smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer in his lazy boy by the looks of that pic!
  2. Yeah, that's the benefit of a hard surface like that. It's best to catch the ball in the first place though!
  3. Nope, neither will the stone surface.
  4. Definitely agree on the heckling part. Not so sure about the other part, but I hope you are correct because he'll probably see his fair share of time back there.
  5. That's a keen eye you got there!
  6. That's not much of an endorsement, but fair enough. And I'm sure he'll get plenty of opportunity here. His history doesn't suggest that he'll be much behind the plate.
  7. Which only matters if he actually catches the ball.
  8. Like nearly impossible hard.
  9. Nah, came with the trophies.
  10. Can we not and say we did? It'll save the limestone behind home plate some bruises.
  11. "The top prospect reached base five times on the back of three walks, a double, and a homer. He also flashed some leather with an excellent play rolling to his right." I'd love to see a lot more of this, Mr. Lewis.
  12. I'm really looking for Lewis and SWR have good years. That would be huge for this franchise. Nice to see them highlighted here.
  13. Closer among them, or at least a closer type, but hardly even close to the only thing. That is for sure.
  14. Hample's is an interesting story. I've heard of him, but was unaware of the film. It's nice to see his story get out. He's got an interesting way to connect to the game, so it's kinda neat to see that there's a film out there.
  15. The pitching has held up their end of the bargain thus far. It's the bats that have faltered. That isn't likely to be sustained. It's only been two games. I still don't trust the pitching, but they're doing their job through two whole games.
  16. I'd say the casting director did a pretty good job on this one!
  17. The guy has a .545 winning percentage as a manager. Even if he's just robotically following a game plan, clearly it's working more than it's not.
  18. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what Duffey's numbers are against the first three batters he faced? @Otto von Ballpark?
  19. It's not like Duffey has never pitched in a save situation either. He's got 4 career saves. Obviously that's a small sample, but it's hardly foreign territory for him. Rocco's options are pretty limited.
  20. Defeat grasped from the clutches of victory.
  21. I thought they blew that save just fine without him.
