  1. Hard to know for sure ... but ... the vomit noise thing was really quite funny. The fear on people's faces as they jumped aside ... priceless. Don't think I could do that now and feel good about myself, but I was fine with myself doing that back then.
  2. Yeah, pretty ... um ... what? I get Mauer lead-off, but Dozier 3rd and Plouffe 4th? Why not Sano 3rd, Park 4th, Plouffe 5th and Dozier 6th? Or something. But 3rd and 4th? Right... because it is possible for us to score fewer runs than we have.
  3. Long before I had vertigo issues, I loved roller coasters. In fact, it could've been roller coasters that caused my middle-aged vertigo. And I SCREEEEEEEEEEAMED on them ... not because I was scared or compelled to or couldn't help myself ... but because it made the ride that much more fun. To just let it out and ride with the wind! And I would especially wind up for the most death-curdling scream I could whenever it zipped close by and standers-by watching the fun. The hope was it would freak them out so much they wouldn't want to try it. My attempts at shortening the line. In my even younger days, instead of the loud screaming at the standers-by, my friends and I would make loud vomit noises. Yes, I did such a thing. We did that on a lot of rides that came near any spectators. People really jumped and scattered.
  4. Geez, okay ... now I'm going to have to put up with obnoxious movie-goers to see this ... at least it will be worth it.
  5. Wow, that's a high review ... I'm gonna have to get out to see this ... soon. I generally wait until the biggest crowds die down, even on a 'must see now!' movie, because, well, crowds, they are made up of people, and, well ... crowds of people all crammed into a theatre and I am usually sitting next to or right behind that person who has to be on his/her cell phone throughout. Hmm ... might have spend and go VIP to avoid the worst of the rabble. Oh, who am I kidding, I usually do that anyway on these types of movies.
  6. Played yesterday, playing tomorrow and Tuesday ... hard for me to play too many days in a row.
  7. Ha! More like this ... I'd be like Diane Keaton at the beginning, but I'd be Bette Midler at the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kflvHGnIkoA
  8. The ones off the balcony, so the floor to ceiling windows in the livingroom. The others the HOA takes care of.
  9. Cleaning out my entry closet in preparation of that whole area being retiled. Washing windows, inside and out. Laundry. Clean my bathroom. (Guest bath and bathroom were cleaned yesterday.)
  10. I thought ... okay, I'll watch the game today ... after that 1st half inning, I might just turn the channel. Better yet ... I'm going to do chores.
  11. Be that a lesson to you ... buy the internet and do it from the air
  12. I think the ability to edit one's posts lasts only an hour, at most. So, if you edit within the hour, should be fine.
  13. It's not software error that it happens, it's user error. It is the system, however, that it can't be corrected in the forums.
  14. Just so it's clear to everyone, this article was written by TD poster/contributor dwade and not Seth. Someone may have mentioned this at some points within the comments that I haven't yet entirely read.
  15. See my edited post above ...
  16. 3 oz tequila blanco 3 oz Cointreau 4 oz simple syrup, or to taste (1 c. water, 1 c. sugar, in a saucepan, bring to boil, dissolving sugar, cool to room temp) 8 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice, or to taste You can make the above ahead of time, and is best to, and chill. When ready to serve, fill glass halfway with margarita mixture, top off with with prosecco. Makes for a light, crisp, a little bubbly, and potent margarita. Depending on the glass size, makes 4-6 servings. I made a double batch last night, which was good for two bottles of prosecco. This is what I painted while under the influence of the above recipe. And it was upright when I started ...
  17. Just gotta say before I pass out ... prosecco margaritas are awesome!
  18. I'll wait until things quiet a bit before seeing it.
  19. Scary that the hottest place in the U.S. right now is Two Harbors ... Halsey? How ya doin'? Hope you didn't melt out on the golf course today!
  20. Happy Birthday, Van! Made a batch of prosecco margaritas ... well, made the margarita part, I'll add the prosecco later ... so I'll be enjoying National Beverage day and will raise my glass in cheer to you.
  21. Hey, Van ... how were Mike's margaritas? Surprised you found your way to work after a few of those.
  22. But Mastro isn't for sure, is it?
  23. Don't set us up to be hopeful here, all to crash in disappointment!
