    I baked chicken tonight for dinner. I know, I know ... cart before the horse. But it's what I wanted for dinner ... chicken, roasted corn, 4-bean salad ... yum! Those who know me best (spinowner) knows I don't really do much cooking, so this is a big deal. So ... win Twins!!

    If you can, try and get a screen shot of it and post it here or send it to Brock. I've found that if I change browsers, that helps, too. I get far less in Safari than Firefox, or at least lately. Even Chrome was getting annoying, so for now Safari seems to work the best. And I don't know what IE is anymore, so I wouldn't even attempt it. These things seem to cycle to different people at different times ... but ... screen shots always help Brock identify what/where kind of things.

    Yeah ... Princess caught a rabbit once, too ... I don't think Beebo was as fast as Princess, but man, could he jump ... he'd hang out on the roof of the house ... no dog would catch him there.

    Well ... yeah ... if there are issues with spam or ads ... it's really best to post in MinnCentric questions forum ... but if there is an issue with spam, I'd like to remove the spammers ... but I'm not seeing any.

    ? I haven't seen any spam in the forums ... could you flag/report them when you see it? Or are you referring to ads? Which is a different problem.

    Yep ... this, all of this. I had a cat growing up, her name was Princess ... and I saw her outrun just about everything. And catch just about everything. She was a scrapper and had a notch out of her ear to prove it; and she was smart. I saw her once sitting under a tree being nonchalant, grooming herself and just being cool about life. Well, there was this blue jay in the tree. And the blue jay was yakking at her and my Princess just ignored him. So then he started swooping at her. She went about her business like he wasn't there. And he kept swooping lower, and lower, and lower ... BAM! She gave that jay a swat and lucky for him she didn't snag him with a claw or it would have been all over for him. Lesson learned. But I wasn't a fan of the dead rat she brought home one day and left in the backyard to almost be mowed over. She fought the rat ... and won.

    I agree that it doesn't and that we don't need 13 pitchers, but that isn't what the OP is saying or asking and if it's to replace Gimenez, than no; but if it's in addition instead of a pitcher, then yes, by all means would be my vote.

    I'm not sure Mauer's defense completely makes up for his offensive lackings (notwithstanding the last couple of games), but man, we would not be where we are at without it. I don't know what the stats say, but I don't think there currently is a better 1st baseman, defensively speaking.
