  1. Will Ash, Bash and Crash be going to today's game, too?
  2. It's not a guarantee, though, that he will pitch to them, at least not Game 1 if we get there. Could be Maeda or Ober.
  3. Welcome to TD ... you chose a fine day to jump in! 🙂
  4. I wouldn't put it that way, exactly ... he's played the long game all through the season and it got us here. Resting players, putting players on the IL ... to everyone's frustration and complaints. But I'd bet that we have one of the healthier rosters, especially pitchers. It was no question that Lopez was starting game 1 and Gray game 2. That's been set since we clinched, and maybe before. We've known that and Rocco has stated that. Beyond those two, well, we could see some variance, and we have the depth to allow for that. Rocco and the FO got our pitchers to line up to go this way, so I don't get the 'Twins method' comment on this. It was never a consideration. All season they played the long game, now they are playing to win every game they can, and that shows with the roster they went with and the order the starters are scheduled.
  5. What kind of postgame coverage is this? I want a Twins wrap, not a TB/Rangers wrap
  6. I’m glad the game started in the afternoon … now I have time to get to the DQ for a WINNAH blizzard!
  7. Sure, jump to the paranoid conspiracy theory ... and you could use yours to correct it, too ...
  8. Did you quote the wrong post? My, you got started early today! 😉
  9. That’s why I always have gameday running along with the video … so I know when to watch and when to close my eyes 🙂
  10. Interesting that you know not only what show this is from, but the exact episode? Hmmm … 🤔
  11. I think most people are acknowledging Buxton’s injury history. Most would like a miraculous return but know it’s not happening and Buxton shouldn’t have a roster spot. But the poster was insinuating something nefarious with Buxton’s character if you read back a few posts on the exchange. Buxton has loads of talent but a body that won’t allow it. It’s sad and unfortunate. It’s no one’s fault, as was implied, it’s just how he’s made
  12. It can’t be that expensive. According to one poster tickets can be found for $6
  13. Yes … desktop, iPad, and phone. Still happening
  14. You’re not. I wouldn’t have guessed it to come this early, but so it goes.
  15. Last game of the regular season … it’s been filled with highs and lows, but I’m glad it’s not over yet for the Twins. Win Twins!
  16. Reminds me of a cotton candy machine explosion
  17. Stop it now ... your rookie hate is becoming nothing but trolling
  18. You don't have a local station that carries the Rockies game? (assuming you are in Rockies territory)
  19. Which pitchers will we see tonight? Go Twins!
  20. I don’t disagree with you. I think most recognize the tragic-ness of the situation, while still thinking rostering him on the playoff roster isn’t the best thing for the Twins. If he can truly play, that would be awesome, but the probability of that does not look good. Recognizing the probable limitations isn’t being negative. However, when posters go out of their way to attack character as the poster did two above yours, yes, that’s negative. While it’s an opinion, it was uncalled for, imo. Suggesting that Buxton was making demands and simply choosing not to play, implying something nefarious in his behavior … I think not only is that negative, but also incredibly mean-spirited and ugly, and obviously from one who didn’t read the entire article but just spouting a long-held opinion about the character of someone none of us knows personally.
