    I think I recall Halsey saying the opposite about Sano’s and Buxton’s ‘earnestness’ when it came to some of the workouts and drills during ST, but that was maybe a year ago or so. Can’t quite remember exactly what he said but I remembered being surprised thinking it was the opposite. But things change and I don’t know the current state of either of their ‘earnestnesses’

    I wasn’t an advocate of his signing either time. Was difficult not to offer him a contract after last season, I suppose, but I wouldn’t have offered 3 years because you are right, they aren’t likely to fire him even though I think they should. All the woulda, coulda, shouldas won’t change what is, though, so I just sigh and complain some then turn off the tv and move on with a little hope that something changes but expecting nothing.

    Not trying to be rude here, because I know this. It’s a woulda, shoulda, coulda issue at this point and has been hashed over to death except by those who still have axes to grind. IMHO of course.

    Seriously, stop with this kind of ‘I told you so posting,’ especially since that wasn’t the narrative. The narrative was he didn’t want to come here, not that it would cost us too much. If you are going to resort to posting, at least get it right.

    He is off the DL and was optioned. Castro was moved to 60-day DL to make room. This happened several days ago now. Maybe a week?
