    Grossman is god awful on D and provides nothing on offense except walks. Move on already.

    I've about had it with Rosario. I get that he's a free spirit and that's part of what makes him good, but he plays with his head up his arse way too much. I've also about had it with Taylor Rogers. The guy is just about incapable of having a clean outing. He gives up at least one baserunner in about 90% of his appearances since last July. Usually Hildenberger and co. bail him out, but not tonight.

    He had already used Grossman. But I still would have pinch run Adrianza and used LaMarre to PH.

    Is Yunel Escobar still a free agent? He would seem more useful than a 5th OF'er.

    They don't really need both Granite and Grossman. While Vargas obviously won't get many starts he could prove useful as Jason Castro's personal 8th inning PH.

    Honestly, I will be surprised if there are protests. There really hasn't been much talk about this since the week the story broke. And of course MLB announced it in a Friday news dump. In any event, I don't think a short suspension "just because" would have flied with the union or done anything to assuage protesters.

    I'm surprised they didn't at least require some counseling. But I suppose they either had proof, in which case they would get blasted for going too light, or they didn't. I agree there are no winners in this. But given the amount of time that lapsed, it was never likely they would find definitive proof on this.

    It's not just the outings he gave up runs. Go back and see how many clean outings he had in the 2nd half. 9 out of 30. Hildenberger bailed him out many times. He was better in September. But now looks awful again in ST.

    I know it won't be this way but: Rodney Reed Duke Moya Hildy Pressley Duffy Rodgers or Hughes. Rodgers has not been good since last July and is having an awful Spring. I don't see why he's locked into a spot ahead of Moya.

    Profar has a career batting average .229 and an OPS of .638 in 718 PA's. "Black Hole" Adrianza has a career batting average of .238 and an OPS of .641 in 517 PAs.

    Santana will be back by May 15th or sooner. I'll be surprised if Sano is suspended for more than 15-20 games tbh. There's almost no way they have any 'proof' of anything 2.5 years after the fact. Unless there are additional accusers, my guess is a short suspension and some community service etc.

    I was excited seeing he was available for about 30 seconds. Then I looked at his stats the last two years. Woof.

    His best case scenario isn't worth keeping. Mejia, Duffy etc. are already better options. So are Gonsalves and Romero obviously. Just bite the bullet.

    If Sano isn't out, Escobar is the primary SS. I don't see how it's even a discussion. If Sano is out than Adrianza/Gordon. I assume Aybar makes the team now.

    2/$25 or 1/$14. Get it done.

    I tend to agree. Unless there is some sort of video tape we're not aware of, I don't know what MLB's investigation is going to consist of other than interviewing the 4 people. I expect some sort of short suspension and counseling. I'm a bit surprised they're not done yet.

    Even if we sign Lynn/Cobb the 5th starter spot is still open to competition between Sanchez/Hughes/Majia.

    I love how people get so worked up about these low risk signings. I remember the anger over signing Colon last year. They still better get another starter. If they do, I have no issue with this.

    I would offer them Kepler, Gordon and any two pitchers not named Gonsalves for Archer and taking Span. That seems reasonable.

    Lol. The Twins aren't "leaking" this to save face. 90% of their ticket buyers aren't following the off-season intently enough to notice and the other 10% are on sites like this $%^ing about it regardless.
