    Dang it, he cost plenty of games this year, (and last year, and the year before), with awful lineups and mind-numbing in-game management. Gee, maybe the Twinks would have had home field in that playoff if not for games given away during the season. I have not the time nor the wherewithal to go through all the game threads, but I do remember countless times, after a loss, when the "this one's on Molly" quotes were abundant. This sucks right now. And it'll suck next year, too.

    Hi gang! Just a quick check-in while at "work" today... I think we'll battle back from the early deficit. But, also noticed the Cleveland score- wow, 10-0 in the 3rd inning... I wonder who the Sox are throwing today? Wait for it.... wait for it..... Big Pelf. 10 runs in 2.2. Ahhhh, just like the old days....! *granted, he was hard done by from his defense, but... whew.

    Heh... wasn't able to check in to the game today, but saw the aftermath. Ahhh, nostalgia--- Pressly and Tonk, the usual suspects, giving it up for the team!

    Agree. I find it incomprehensible why Hague or Park or both are not on that pine right now.

    I am convinced that this season and the pennant race are in spite of the mgr, not because of him. How many dang games has he already cost with bone-headed lineups and in-game decisions?

    So this is a major difference between a Cleveland team and the present Twinkie team. They get their guys over, and get 'em on in when they have the chance. A few less K's that don't advance the runner, and a few less Mighty Casey swings when a short poke to the grass would do just fine....
