I would go with Matuella if he is available, but he might be a tough sign. I would also consider Donny Everett or Alonzo Jones, but they are committed to Vanderbilt. Blake Trahan would probably be the most likely to sign, and he is a good shortstop, plus I know the Twins like him.

I don't think he would be back in time, he might get in one or two starts, and it wouldn't be enough to get him into the first round.

I here he reminds them of Pelfrey, I really like the pick, and hope they go with Michael Matuella or Blake Trahan in the second round.

Can't draft for needs this early, it was a great pick in my opinion.

Walker Buehler will be a nice pick for somebody, as will Funkhouser and Harris.

Sean Hjelle lives in White Bear, but he goes to school in Mahtomedi. Speaking of Mahtomedi, I saw on the mlb.com draft tracker that Mike Baumann was listed as a State College of Florida Manatee - Sarasota (FL) Right Handed Pitcher, but he pitched at Jacksonville this year and was named a freshman All-American, so I was wondering if you knew anything about that.

I'm a bit of a cheater, and plan on doing one a couple of hours before the draft, but it will probably be no significant change.

The reason I went with Aiken is because I consider him the top player in the class, if not for the injury, and TR said that they will roll the dice, but it was just speculation on my part.

I didn't say that Escobar was better than Plouffe, I said he has had worse luck.

You can hit a fly ball or ground ball and get good speed of the bat, and he his getting weak contact less often than Trevor Plouffe, and his hard hit percentage is just .01% percent under Plouffe's.
